Our Programs
NH Project Learning Tree offers a continuum of professional development opportunities from one-day workshops to multi-year intensive professional development opportunities. At the heart of our programs is the award winning Project Learning Tree® curriculum.
Our programs enable us to broker important relationships among classroom teachers, local foresters and other natural resource professionals, forest landowners, sawmills and others, making “real world” connections to the local community and beyond.
PLT Workshops
for teachers, youth group leaders, natural resource professionals, and others train participants in how to use Project Learning Tree’s award-winning materials.
A Forest for Every Classroom
is a year-long professional development series for middle and high school educators.
Building Vertical Science Literacy, A Math Science Partnership Program
is an 18-month long program to transform science teaching in selected school districts.
Connecting Schools to People and Place (CS2P)
is a three-year partnership between NHPLT and a single school designed to integrate environmental education into the curriculum school-wide.
A Walk in the Forest
utilizes community forests, local volunteers and resource professionals to provide educators with the knowledge and resources to plan a forest field day at or near a school.
