NHPLT Honored with Profile Award
On May 3, 2006, NH Project Learning Tree received a Profile Award from the Old Man of the Mountain Legacy Committee. These awards are given annually to an individual, community, and organization who express the NH spirit and have contributed to the state's heritage. They were created in response to the fall of the Old Man of the Mountain, to keep his legacy alive. This is a tremendous honor. The two prior recipients of the organizational award are the Society for the Protection for NH Forests and the Mount Washington Observatory.
